They are here ~ the butterflies! I’ve been so excited about this collection…it says spring it lifts our spirits, it’s just what we need right now!

Today I really want to show you the beautiful new Butterfly Bijou 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper. The patterns are amazing and the colors are gorgeous. This card uses two of the patterns ~ one is the background paper covered with bright butterflies; the other pattern has some larger butterflies that match one of the Brilliant Wings Dies. It’s a large die that cuts 6 butterflies at a time, and this pattern of the paper can be cut with the die! You get 6 butterflies with one run through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine! I used one of them on this card.

This fun Easter and spring card also highlights the individual butterfly dies. A small detailed butterfly die was used to cut Basic White card stock to create the pretty small butterfly. It was adhered to the larger butterfly with a few Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. Then both butterflies were set on a 2″ circle that was embossed with the Dainty Diamonds 3D Embossing Folder.

Various leaves that I had on hand were tucked under the circle to give a nice background to the butterflies. The sentiment is from the Timeless Tulips stamp set. It’s perfect for a spring card, don’t you think?
