It’s GREEN WEEK here at Pretty Paper Cards, and every day I’m going to show you a card featuring one of the many beautiful Stampin’ Up! greens! It seems appropriate because St. Patrick’s Day is this week. Today’s color is Shaded Spruce!
This card uses the True Love Designer Series Paper. This is a black and white paper with floral and geometric patterns, and it just cries out to be colored! The base of the card is Basic White card stock and a piece of Shaded Spruce card stock was adhered over that. Three 2″ x 3″ pieces of the white and black polka dotted sheet of True Love paper were then adhered alternately.
The floral cluster was fussy cut from another sheet of the True Love Designer Series Paper. (You can make an entire card with this paper!) The flowers were colored with the Shaded Spruce Stampin’ Blends. The leaves were colored with the Dark Shaded Spruce Blend, and the petals were colored with the Light Shaded Spruce Blend.
The Fine Art 3/8″ Gold Ribbon was adhered with Stampin’ Seal +. Put a strip of the adhesive along a horizontal line, adhere a bit of ribbon, make a loop and adhere another bit of ribbon, and so on. The sentiment is from the Timeless Tulips Stamp Set.

The 2019-2021 In Colors Are Retiring Soon
The New Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog is being released one month earlier beginning this year ~ on May 4, 2021. That means that the current 2019-2021 In Colors will be retiring and all the products using these colors will be retiring (cardstock, ink, ink refills…). Order these now, as many items are already low on inventory.

Shaded spruce is my favorite as well. It is a rich green. Did all my St Patrick;s cards in it!
