The Garden Birdhouses stamp set is just adorable. It has three different birdhouse stamps, three different bird stamps, leaves and sentiments. It’s a great set to use at this time of year. I don’t know about you, but right now we have lots of birds flying around our garden, especially doves who love to build nests this time of year.
This stamp set has 19 (what? 19?) photopolymer stamps, including both images and sentiments. Stamp sets that have both are more versatile.
The colors for this card come from this week’s challenge over at the Global Design Project. I just love these colors, and I had so much fun coloring in the birdhouse with Stampin’ Blends 🙂
Blender Brushes are so useful for a soft look. Here I used them to add soft Pear Pizzaz color to the upper-right corner of the card. I also blended some Fresh Freesia ink on a beautiful Basic White die cut floral from the Penned Flowers Dies. Layered over the floral piece is a Basic White circle cut using the Layering Circle Dies, and then some Pear Pizzaz leaves cut using the Forever Flourishing Dies. Lots of pretty dies used on this card 🙂
After stamping and coloring the birdhouse, it was fussy cut using Paper Snips Scissors and layered onto the circle, over the leaves. The sentiment was stamped in Blackberry Bliss ink on a scrap of Basic White cardstock and then also fussy cut.
Thank you for stopping by today! Happy Stamping!
