Welcome! Thank you for stopping by today! I’ve been having fun playing with the Global Design Project Challenge for this week. Yesterday I talked about “casing” a card, or copying it. And this challenge is called Case the Designer. They gave us a designer’s card that we need to reinterpret in our own style!

For my card, I also featured a heart with a black outline and a type of checkered inside. I used the Heart Punch Pack that contains two different punches: one is a bit larger and has a scalloped edge, and the other one fits perfectly inside. The checked paper is from the Pattern Party Designer Series Paper.

Behind the heart is a piece of Basic White cardstock wrapped with strips of Pale Papaya & White 1/2″ Ribbon. The background here is a 3-3/4″ x 5″ piece of Basic White cardstock that has been embossed with the new Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder and then lightly colored with a Pale Papaya ink pad. I just gently tapped the raised parts with the actual pad.

The cutest part of this card is the sweet little tag stamped with the word “Love.” This stamp and die can be found in the Quiet Meadow Bundle. A black baker’s twine bow was tied at the top of the tiny tag 🙂
