Stampin' Up! Tea Together Valentine - Peggy Noe - stampinup

The theme “art from the heart” makes me think of a card ~ made with love ~ for a special person! I made today’s card for a special friend who gave me a teapot from Russia. We enjoy having tea together (and also coffee). When I saw the Tea Together stamp set I knew right away that I would use it to make a card for her 🙂

Stampin' Up! Love Tea Together - prettypapercards - stampinup

This is such a sweet stamp set! The coordinating Tea Time Framelits Dies were used to cut out the teapot and cup from the All My Love Designer Series Paper. I think they look like fine china!!

Stampin' Up! Tea Together Card - prettypapercards - stampinup

This card uses three different sets of dies, each one of the sets is amazing! The sentiment was stamped on layered hearts that were cut using the Be Mine Stitched Framelits Dies. The grouping of white hearts under the teapot were also cut with a die from that set. When you use this particular die, little hearts pop out from the outline hearts!

Aren’t these tiny hearts darling? These are going to be great to use as confetti inside the card. They are slippery little things, so I gathered them together with the Take Your Pick Tool 🙂

The Party Pandas Are Here!

Stampin' Up! Party Pandas Valentine - Peggy Noe - stampinup

Have you seen the Party Pandas? Oh my gosh they’re darling, an adorable stamp set of cute little pandas just waiting for you to stamp them on a card! This is one of our Sale-a-Bration sets that you can get free with your $50 order.

Stampin' Up! Party Pandas Love Card - Prettypapercards - stampinup

Because pandas are black and white, I used a black and white stripe as a background paper.

Pretty Pointer:  Brighten up any card with a “pop” of color! Lemon Lime Twist is a great color to use. You can see how it really make a difference on this card 🙂

Stampin' Up! Party Pandas Valentine - Prettypapercards - stampinup

The reason this is a great stamp set is that it has both the pandas AND some sentiments. For my card today I’ve used the “Love You” sentiment, but you could also make a birthday card or a hello card! This makes the set versatile.

Soft Valentine from a Friend!

Sometimes I receive lovely cards in the mail, and today I want to share one with you!  This card was made by my friend and downline, Su Mohr!

Su is a master at using designer series paper, and you can tell by the way she’s used it on this card.

The die cut “love” is from the Sunshine Wishes Thinlits.  I “love” the Blushing Bride card stock she’s used here.  So sweet!

Thank you, Su, for the wonderful Valentine!

Hearts of Gold!

Love R

What a clean and simple Valentine!  I made this when a few of us got together and my friend Linda brought this as a make and take.  I fell in love!  🙂

Love standing L

It’s not hard to make.  The word “love” is die cut from Gold Foil using the Sunshine Wishes Thinlits.  It is attached to the Whisper White panel using Dimensionals.

Love standing

Three different heart stamps from various sets were heat embossed in gold, as was the tiny word “you.”

Love L cu

And a pretty red heart finishes off this card.  Don’t you love it?  Shhh…don’t tell my husband, but this is going to be his Valentine card from me!!

Thanks for stopping by today!  Have fun making your Valentines!

Ladybugs flat L

I love ladybugs!  They are the only bug I like.  Well, maybe I like the bee ~ but just from a distance 🙂  Anyway, these two ladybugs are so cute and they are perfect for Valentine’s Day!

Ladybugs standing

The ladybugs and the sweet sentiment are from a Host Stamp Set called Love You Lots.  A Host Stamp Set is one you can only buy if you are a Host of a class or party and you can only purchase them with Stampin’ Rewards.  You earn Stampin’ Rewards when you have a class or party with sales of $150 or more.

Ladybugs R

The ladybugs were stamped in Black Archival Ink and colored in with a Real Red Stampin’ Write Marker.

Ladybugs flat RDo you see how I used the pretty Sending Love Designer Series Paper?  The circle that is framing the ladybugs was cut with the Stitched Shapes Framelits (as was the Whisper White circle).  A strip of the dsp was folded arbitrarily and layered under the circles.

Ladybugs L

To finish off the card I splattered some Real Red Ink.  This is a happy Valentine card!  You could also give it to your spouse for an anniversary!

Valentine Rose!

Rose cu

Hearts and roses ~ what could speak more of love?  The rose is made from the Rose Garden Thinlits Dies.  Isn’t it pretty?  It’s almost like a stencil, it’s just an outline of a full rose 🙂

Rose 1

The background behind the rose is watercolored in a light Rose Red shade to show off the rose die.  Layered behind that is some sweet paper from the Love Blossoms Designer Series Paper Stack.
