So, I needed a wedding card this week. Now I’m a card maker, and I could make a white and gold wedding card…that would be nice. But it’s a spring wedding, and this new Delightful Daisy Suite is calling to me: pretty designer series paper and a fun new daisy punch!
Oh my, I love it!! This Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper is fabulous and it makes such a sweet background to this spring wedding card. For the daisy, there are actually four (4) punched daisies layered on top of each other. They are alternated, one Whisper White card stock daisy, one Shimmery White card stock (watercolored with Flirty Flamingo ink) daisy, and then again the same. A large Silver Faceted Gem sits in the center of the daisy 🙂
Behind the daisy is a silver Metallic Doily and some Silver 1/8″ Ribbon. That gives it some wedding elegance, don’t you think? The die cut sentiment is cut from Wisteria Wonder card stock using the Sunshine Wishes Thinlits Dies. These dies are carrying over from the current catalog and are available now!
What do you think of my spring wedding card? It’s not traditional, but I think this couple will like it 🙂 And I sure had fun using this new daisy suite!
The new items will be available on June 1st, but in the meantime:

Sometimes I receive lovely cards in the mail, and today I want to share one with you! This card was made by my friend and downline, Su Mohr!
Su is a master at using designer series paper, and you can tell by the way she’s used it on this card.
The die cut “love” is from the Sunshine Wishes Thinlits. I “love” the Blushing Bride card stock she’s used here. So sweet!
Thank you, Su, for the wonderful Valentine!
What a clean and simple Valentine! I made this when a few of us got together and my friend Linda brought this as a make and take. I fell in love! 🙂
It’s not hard to make. The word “love” is die cut from Gold Foil using the Sunshine Wishes Thinlits. It is attached to the Whisper White panel using Dimensionals.
Three different heart stamps from various sets were heat embossed in gold, as was the tiny word “you.”
And a pretty red heart finishes off this card. Don’t you love it? Shhh…don’t tell my husband, but this is going to be his Valentine card from me!!
Thanks for stopping by today! Have fun making your Valentines!

We had a great time at my card classes this past weekend! This is one of the cards we made. Personally I’m happy to be getting a head start on my Thanksgiving cards. I don’t send them so much as I hand them to my friends in the weeks just before Thanksgiving, to let them know that I’m thankful for their friendship 🙂
The sentiment from this set is so perfect for people you love and appreciate. On this card it is heat embossed with white embossing powder on a strip of Cajun Craze cardstock. I love the way the white really stands out.
The Crushed Curry layer was stamped in Cajun Craze ink with the largest paisley stamp in the set. The paisleys look so fun just freely stamped all over!
The leaves were cut with the Flourish Thinlits. I used some Copper Foil which blends beautifully with the other colors on the card.
Do you send Thanksgiving cards? I’d like to know, and if you do, who do you send or give them to? Thanks for stopping by today!

It’s beginning ~ the wedding season is upon us! I usually like to have several wedding cards on hand. For this card I pulled out the Timeless Love stamp set (for the first time!). This stamp set has some pretty wedding and anniversary sentiments, and it goes nicely with the …Timeless Textures stamp set!! Hee!
The sentiment is embossed with white embossing powder on vellum. The pretty wreath is from the You’re So Lovely Project Kit. I think that’s been one of my favorite kits this year.

It’s time for weddings and wedding cards! y I always try to have a few wedding cards on hand, especially at this time of year. We made this card at my classes last weekend…thought I’d show you what we did!
Stampin’ Up! has some very beautiful stamps. You know that 🙂 I think the stamps used on this card are two of the prettiest! This large sentiment is from the Big News stamp set and it’s been embossed with silver embossing powder to make it extra shimmery. It’s a bit hard to see in the picture, but the embossing is very pretty.
The other stamp the covers the background is the gorgeous Blended Bloom stamp. It is stamped in Smoky Slate which has been stamped off once. It leaves such a nice soft light grey flower outline ~ I love it!
Pretty Pointer: For wedding and anniversary cards, you can’t lose with white and silver or gold. And embossing the silver or gold is definitely the way to go.
And, add bling! Rhinestones, glimmer paper, satin ribbon, it all adds to the elegance of your card. Do you notice that this card would work well for either a wedding or an anniversary? This is the best kind of card to have around and ready!!
