Sneak Peeks: Fern & Flora Wedding Card!

A sweet couple I know recently got married and I needed to make them a wedding card. I immediately thought of the new Fern & Flora Dies. They are so pretty and the leaves look very lacy. For an even more lacy look, I used the Eyelet Blooms Die (the April Product of the Month). And this week’s Global Design Project gave me just the color inspiration I needed.

The leaves were cut from Basic White cardstock with the dies, and then lightly brushed with color. Using a Blending Brush allows you to shade the color from light to dark on the same element.

The sentiment is from the new Heirloom Boutique Stamp Set. It is stamped on a 3/4″ piece of cardstock using Strawberry Slush ink.

For sparkle, I added some Sunset Sparkle Sequins. These are also available in the May-August Catalogl I actually love sequins because they add bling but are flat for mailing 🙂 I love the way this card turned out, it’s a perfect wedding card!
