Today’s card is a double-easel card. This is a fun card to make and it’s fun for anyone to receive! This card was made for a person who reached a big goal, and I want to celebrate her!

Here’s a replay of my Facebook Live where I show you exactly how to create this card:

For this card you need one full 8-1/2″ x 11″ piece of cardstock. Here I’ve used Misty Moonlight, and cut the full piece in half. Each half will be 4-1/4″ x 11.” Score one half at 5-1/2″ and score the other half at 2-3/4″ and 5-1/2.” Fold on all the score lines. (Please watch the video to see how to adhere the two halves.) The one half looks like a regular card scored in half. This is adhered over the largest panel of the second half, and the adhered with multipurpose glue.

Then you can decorate your card! Here I’ve used the You’re a Peach Designer Series Paper. For the small front flap, cut a piece of the striped pattern 4″ x 2-1/2.” and adhere to the front flap. Then cut a flowered peach pattern piece at 4″ x 5-1/4″ and adhere on the back panel with multipurpose glue. Cut a Basic White 3-3/4″ x 5″ panel and adhere to the inside of the card. A little 3/4″ x 4″ strip of dotted designer series paper was adhered along the top of the back panel and a strip of the same size was adhered along the bottom of the Basic White panel inside the card.

A Misty Moonlight doily was cut with the Encircled in Beauty Dies and adhered to the on the front striped piece. The sentiment was stamped on Basic White cardstock and cut out with one of the Potted Succulents Dies. The word “you” was stamped again on Basic White cardstock and cut out with a small scalloped circle from the Layering Circle Dies.

I just love this fancy fold card. Once you learn how to make it you can do it all the time!
