NEW VIDEO: Let's Make a Loaded Envelope!

What is a loaded envelope? It’s an envelope made from a 12″ x 12″ piece of designer series paper – in this case, the Ever Eden Specialty Designer Series Paper – stuffed with goodies!!

Creating the envelope is very easy. Then you decorate it and fill it up ~ or, load it up! The 12″ x 12″ piece is scored on the left side at 3-1/4″ and on the right side at 3-1/4″ — then score the bottom at 3-3/4.” Watch the video tutorial below to see exactly how to assemble it.

You can create a pocket on the back of the envelope if you like. Cut a piece of designer series paper 6-1/2″ x 3-1/2.” Score it on three sides at 1/2″ and burnish the score lines. Follow the instructions on the video, and adhere the pocket to the back of the envelope with Tear & Tape, then fill it up! Here I’ve loaded it with a few pens and a covered 3″ x 3″ pad of Post It Notes.

These are the items I made to add to the envelope: the covered Post It pad, a tag, and a large paperclip with a bow at the top (adhered with a hot glue gun).

Most loaded envelopes have a “lolly” or rosette included. Here’s the rosette I created from the designer series paper. I added a snowflake, a gold butterfly, and a few gems. These were things I had in a basket that I keep for odds and ends 🙂
