You're the Nicest Gingham Card! - Pretty Paper Cards

Now I’m thinking you are wondering where the “gingham” is on this card. Well, it’s the name of the new embossing folder I’ve used here. It’s different, and I really like it 🙂

On top of the gingham-embossed piece are two delicate hearts. One is a Fresh Freesia heart punched with the scalloped heart punch from the Heart Punch Pack. Another heart was punched from the Vellum Layering Designs paper and angled on top of the Fresh Freesia heart.

Underneath the hearts are leaves punched with the Bough Punch from both Granny Apple Green and Soft Sea Foam cardstock. The leaves were adhered to the back of the Fresh Freesia heart with Multipurpose Glue. When dry, the entire heart was adhered to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The sentiment is from the Honeybee Home stamp set. It was stamped on a strip of Basic White cardstock in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. I really like the fonts on the sentiments in this stamp set 🙂
