Mini Heart Thank You Note!

Today I have for you a mini thank you note with some fun layers. This is a small card, one that you would attach maybe to a little thank you gift. It opens at the top with just enough space to sign your name.

To make these cute little notes, begin with a 7″ x. 3-1/2″ piece of Real Red cardstock and score at 3-1/2″. Fold the card base and burnish the score line. Put the card into the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine with the largest Hippo & Friends Die shown above, making sure that the top of the die is about 1/8″ above the fold of the card. Run it through the machine and you will have a mini card shaped like the die!

Then decorate the front. For this card, I cut a piece of Sweet Talk Designer Series Paper using another die like the first one, just a bit smaller. Then I stamped the sentiment from the Flowing Flowers stamp set (love this sentiment) on a scrap of Basic White cardstock, and punched it out with one of the heart punches from the Heart Punch Pack.

I made this a valentine thank you note, but you could use the same design to make any type of thank you note!
