NEW VIDEO: Hey Sports Fan Birthday Card!

Today is my husband’s birthday and I made him a special card! It’s made from the Stampin’ Up! Hey Sports Fan Designer Series Paper. This is a great paper for anyone who loves sports. I sure hope he likes it!

This card is layered with cardstock and the designer series paper. Each layer is 1/4″ less than the previous layer. The card begins with a Night of Navy card base 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ and scored at 4-1/4.” The green dotted layer is 4″ x 5-1/4″; another Night of Navy layer on top of that is 3-3/4″ x 5″; and then the stars layer is 3-1/2″ x 4-3/4.” The two. pennants were fussy cut with Paper Snips Scissors.

The inside of the card is a 3-3/4″ x 5″ piece of Very Vanilla cardstock. Two small strips of the designer series paper are at the lower edge. The strip with the stars is 3-3/4″ x 1″ and the green dot strip is 3-3/4″ x 3/4.” The sentiment from the Sweet Ice Cream stamp set is stamped in Night of Navy ink on a 1″ x 3-3/4″ piece of Very Vanilla cardstock.

This is such a fun card! It’s great for ANY sports fan, guy or. gal, young or old. And all that’s really needed to create it is the Hey Sports Fan Designer Series Paper.
