Daffodil Blessings for Global Design Project (GDP334)

Today’s card is a lovely spring blessings card using the Daffodil Daydream Bundle. It’s light and airy and bright.

This card is based on this week’s Global Design Sketch Challenge which is a simple sketch and gives lots of room for your own design.

On top of the Basic White card base is a piece of 2021-2023 In Color Shimmer Vellum in Polished Pink. Above that is a piece of Artfully Composed Designer Series Paper.

On the Basic White piece I blended some Granny Apple Green ink as a background for the daffodil. In the lower portion of this piece I stamped the leaves from the Very Versailles stamp set using Shaded Spruce ink, and added some dots using the dot stamp in the Daffodil Daydream stamp set.

The daffodil was stamped in Flirty Flamingo ink and then lightly watercolored and cut out with the Daffodil Dies. The ribbon was tied around the blended piece and finished off with a bow; then the daffodil was adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the sentiment was stamped in Polished Pink ink, fussy cut, and then adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
