Tropical Tulip Easter Card!

Timeless Tulips Easter Blessings Pretty Paper Cards

Are you ready for Easter? It’s come quickly this year, hasn’t it? This Easter card has some palm leaves and some tulips, a beautiful spring combination!

Timeless Tulips Easter Card Peggy Noe

The background pieces of Whisper White and Soft Sea Foam card stock are die cut with the Ornate Layers Dies. A few palm leaves were cut from Granny Apple Green card stock using the Tropical Dies.

To make the tulips, I watercolored some Shimmery White card stock using Blushing Bride and Melon Mambo ink and an Aqua Painter. After watercoloring the paper, I punched out six (6) tulips with the Tulip Builder Punch and then I went back in and created some shading on each tulip with an Aqua Painter. I splattered some black dots on the sheet with a Black Stampin’ Write Marker. The tulips were curved with a Bone Folder, and then adhered together at their bases (2 pieces adhered together for each) with Multipurpose Glue. This produced three tulips, each with two pieces of punched card stock. The tulips were then layered on top of the palm leaves and built up with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

A pretty double bow was tied with Whisper White Seam Binding Ribbon and adhered under the base of the tulips using Mini Glue Dots. The sentiment from the Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set was stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on a small strip of Whisper White card stock. This was tucked under the tulips and adhered at the left corner with Stampin’ Dimensionals. A few sequins were glued around using tiny dots of Multipurpose Glue.

As you put these cards into their coordinating envelopes, and you slip them down into the envelope, there’s a point at which the lamb’s sweet little face just peeks up ~ isn’t it adorable?!?? First Frost Easter Blessings and Free PDF Tutorial!

Stampin' Up! First Frost Easter - Peggy Noe - stampinup

First Frost was one of my favorite stamp sets in last year’s Holiday Catalog, and I’m so glad it was held over into the spring! I pulled it out today to make a pretty Easter card.

Stampin' Up! Easter Blessings - Peggy Noe - stampinup

This card is super easy to make. It’s simply a Whisper White card stock base stamped all over the front with the flower stamps from this set using Melon Mambo ink, with another Whisper White stamped panel over that!

On a 4″ x 5-1/4″ Whisper White card stock panel I’ve stamped the largest leaf stamp in the set with Granny Apple Green ink. Do you see how the large leaf stem is coming IN from the edges to the center of the panel? Then I stamped the flowers around the leaves in Melon Mambo ink.

The “Easter Blessings” sentiment is from the Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set. Some Rose Metallic Thread and a Floral Romance Seal finish off the card!

You could duplicate this design with any ink colors and any floral stamp set! You might want to save one of my photos to your Pinterest board(s) so you can keep it for a sample!

Beautiful Lasting Lily Easter Card!

Stampin' Up! Lasting Lily - Peggy Noe - stampinup

Easter is just a month away, can you believe it? The Lasting Lily stamp set is the perfect set for your Easter cards! Right now this stamp set is FREE with a minimum $100 order in my online shop HERE. I’m featuring it today because supplies of this set are running low and I want to be sure that if you want this set you order it in time!

Stampin' Up! Lasting Lily Easter Card - Peggy Noe - stampinup

Here I’ve combined the beautiful lilies with a sentiment from the His Grace stamp set. This is a beautiful Easter stamp set with some wonderful Easter sentiments!

The lilies have been stamped in Pineapple Punch (three large and one small lily) and Flirty Flamingo (two large and one small) and fussy cut (that means cut out by hand). They’re really easy to cut. We did have coordinating framelits, but they sold out very quickly and even I didn’t get any! But that’s ok, I just quickly cut them out with my Paper Snips. I also stamped the stems in Granny Apple Green ink and the leaves in Lemon Lime Twist ink and also cut them out.

Stampin' Up! Lasting Lily Card - Peggy Noe - stampinup

Start with a Whisper White card base 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4.” On a 4″ x 5-1/4″ panel of Whisper White card stock begin to lay out two of the larger lilies. Adhere them to the Whisper White piece with Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Adhere other large and small lily pieces as shown, finishing with a smaller lily attached with a Stampin’ Dimensionals. Tuck the leaves and stems around the lilies as shown and adhere with the Liquid Glue. Trim off the bottoms of the stems and leaves where they hang over the Whisper White panel.

Stampin' Up! Lasting Lily - prettypapercards - stampinup

Wrap a piece of 1/4″ Lemon Lime Twist Ombre Ribbon around the Whisper White panel and tie with a bow at the base of the bouquet. You may want to adhere the bow to the panel with a Mini Glue Dot to be sure it doesn’t move. Attach the panel to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Adhere a Floral Romance Seal under the bow. Stamp the “He is Risen” sentiment in Granny Apple Green ink on a scrap piece of Whisper White card stock and trim to 1/2″ by 1-3/4.” Attach to the lower left corner with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals as shown.

Amazing Easter Card!

Stampin' Up! Cross of Hope Easter Card - Prettypapercards - stampinup

Today’s Amazing Easter Card is for our Tic Tac Toe Challenge. The board this week has lots of fun elements ~ here it is:

Just for fun I used all the boxes on the board. It’s quite a challenge to fit them all in!

Stampin' Up! Cross of Hope Easter Card - Peggy Noe - stampinup

The back panel was washed with water and Lemon-Lime Twist ink and then splattered with Calypso Coral ink. Then a piece of the Fabulous Foil Designer Acetate was placed over the watercolored piece. A Whisper White circle was cut with one of the Stitched Shape Framelits and then embossed with the fabulous new Basket Weave Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (FREE during Sale-a-Bration with a $100 order! But it won’t be free after 3/31!). I LOVE this embossing folder!

Then I cut a Gold Foil cross with the Cross of Hope Framelits. Really, I have to admit that I used several die sets and several stamp sets to create this card and fill in all those squares on the Tic Tac Toe Board 🙂 But my favorite here is the Sale-a-Bration Celebrate You Thinlits that cut out the delicate word “amazing.” Isn’t it in a great font? This set of Thinlits will continue to be available into next year with Stampin’ Up! I’m so glad!!
