Are you ready for Easter? It’s come quickly this year, hasn’t it? This Easter card has some palm leaves and some tulips, a beautiful spring combination!

The background pieces of Whisper White and Soft Sea Foam card stock are die cut with the Ornate Layers Dies. A few palm leaves were cut from Granny Apple Green card stock using the Tropical Dies.

To make the tulips, I watercolored some Shimmery White card stock using Blushing Bride and Melon Mambo ink and an Aqua Painter. After watercoloring the paper, I punched out six (6) tulips with the Tulip Builder Punch and then I went back in and created some shading on each tulip with an Aqua Painter. I splattered some black dots on the sheet with a Black Stampin’ Write Marker. The tulips were curved with a Bone Folder, and then adhered together at their bases (2 pieces adhered together for each) with Multipurpose Glue. This produced three tulips, each with two pieces of punched card stock. The tulips were then layered on top of the palm leaves and built up with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

A pretty double bow was tied with Whisper White Seam Binding Ribbon and adhered under the base of the tulips using Mini Glue Dots. The sentiment from the Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set was stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on a small strip of Whisper White card stock. This was tucked under the tulips and adhered at the left corner with Stampin’ Dimensionals. A few sequins were glued around using tiny dots of Multipurpose Glue.
