Recently I made a congratulations card for some friends who love herbs and medicinal mushrooms and tea. This is what I like about card making: I was able to pull from different stamp sets and dies to create a card that was just right for the occasion and very personal to them.
On the Basic White cardstock base is a layer of Crushed Curry cardstock, then a layer of the pretty Abigail Rose Designer Series Paper.
The Cup of Tea Bundle was used for the darling black and white teacup with flowers. A bit of Linen Thread was tied in a bow around the handle.
The little mushroom from the Happy Hedgehogs set was stamped in a row along the bottom of the envelope, and a few mushrooms were fussy cut and added to the card. A flower from the Sending Smiles set is on the right side, and a bottle is on the left.
I encourage you to individualize your cards for the recipients. Use what you have to reflect them – they will so appreciate your thoughtfulness.
