We can always use thinking of you cards. They work for several different occasions. A friend who is sick could use a thinking of you card. It would also be good for someone going through a difficult time. I like to have several on hand.

Isn’t this fox darling? I used him because he’s cute and he seems to be “thinking”! You can find this little animal on the Storybook Gnomes Designer Series Paper. He’s been cut out with Paper Snips Scissors. To highlight the fox I’ve set him on a Basic White scalloped circle and then set that on a Flirty Flamingo cardstock scalloped circle. Both circles were cut with the Layering Circle Dies. Behind the scalloped circles is a piece of Black & White Gingham Ribbon (my current favorite!).
My card was made for this week’s Global Design Project challenge to create a card with an animal.

To create the background of the card behind the fox, a 3-1/2″ x 4-3/4″ piece of Basic White cardstock was topped with a snowflake piece of the Storybook Gnome Designer Series Paper. The designer series paper was cut to the same size and then torn in half. It was glued to the Basic White piece with Multipurpose Glue. Then the entire thing was distressed on all the edges with a Bone Folder.

A piece of 5″ x 3-3/4″ Flirty Flamingo cardstock was distressed in the same manner and adhered to the back of the prior piece. Then the entire thing was placed on a Basic White cardstock base.
