Have you ever seen a black & white pumpkin? Well you have now! And why not? Nowadays you see pumpkins in every color…not real pumpkins of course. But as cardmakers we can make our pumpkins any color we want!
Today I’ve created a little suite of items made with the Hello Harvest Bundle, the Rustic Harvest Designer Series Paper, and the Black & White Designs Designer Series Paper. There are two “hello” cards, 2 placecards for a lunch, brunch, or even Thanksgiving, and a little treat box. They are all decorated with the same theme.
For the card, the. base is Pumpkin Pie. cardstock. Then there is a Pumpkin Pie panel that is embossed with the fabulous Hive 3D Embossing Folder. This adds texture and interest to the rest of the card. Also a 3″ x 4″ piece of the gorgeous Rustic Harvest Designer Series Paper is added as a background piece.
The Rustic Pumpkin Dies are great, especially if you need to cut out pumpkins. I love to use pumpkins in the fall. I make pumpkin cards, pumpkin wreaths (coming soon!), and have pumpkins all over my house, inside. and out! For today’s projects, the pumpkins are cut out of the Black & White Designs Designer Series Paper. And the adorable vines are cut from Parakeet Party cardstock using the same dies.

The placecards are 6″ x 3″ pieces of Pumpkin Pie cardstock, scored at 3.” They are topped with a square of the Rustic Harvest Designer Series Paper cut with one of the Stylish Shapes Dies. Another pumpkin is added on top, and a strip of the designer series paper works as a nameplate.
The box is one of the fun new Envelope Treat Boxes with a Pumpkin Pie cardstock belly band and another black & white pumpkin. The strip of designer series paper is stamped with a sentiment from the Garden Birdhouses stamp set.
