Let’s made a fun-fold card and coordinating treat box! The patterns for both the card and the box are easy and you can use any stamp set and any paper. Also, I have a video tutorial below – yeah!
Both cards use the Gingham Cottage Designer Series Paper, one is Pumpkin Pie and the other is Black. See how easy it is to switch out the paper?
To create this flip-front card, cut your card base 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ and score at 4-1/4.” Then on the front of the card base cut 1″ in from both the left and the right sides on the score line. And cut down to the bottom from there, You are basically cutting off a 1″ x 4-1/4″ strip from the left and the right sides of the card front. This creates the flip 🙂

Here is the video tutorial:
To create the box, begin with a piece of Basic White cardstock 5-1/2″ x 7.” Score on the 7″ side at 2-3/4″ and 4-1/4″; on the 5-1/2″ side score at 1-1/2″ and 4.” Fold and burnish all score lines. Place the piece in front of you in the landscape position. Then cut up on the two center score lines from the bottom of the piece up 1-1/2″ to the horizontal score line, creating a thin “V” shape; turn the piece around and do the same on the other side (as shown in the video). Assemble the box with your choice of adhesive and fill with yummy candy!!
Cut a piece of the Gingham Cottage Designer Series Paper 11″ x 2-1/2.” Wrap it around the box and secure with adhesive. Tie a Black & White Gingham Ribbon around the box and secure with a bow. Add the “BOO” sentiment.
