VIDEO TUTORIAL: Fun-Fold Bookbinding Birthday Card!

Fun-fold cards are great. I’m liking them more all the time as I get more comfortable with making them. Today’s card is a bookbinding card – I’ve shown you this fold before. It’s quick and easy and people like receiving it!

On this card I also wanted to show you how well the two designer series papers blend together. They are from two completely different sets (the dark one is Rustic Harvest and the light one is Abigail Rose), but they go together perfectly! The darker Cajun Craze color really accents the lighter Petal Pink color.

Here’s a replay of my Facebook Live which has a tutorial on how to make this fold. And these are the measurements:

–Card Base: 4-1/4″ x 11″ scored at 5-1/2″ and 4-1/2″
–Left “binding” side – Rustic Harvest Designer Series Paper 1″ x 4-1/4″
–Front – Abigail Rose Designer Series Paper 4-1/4″ x 4-1/2″
–Inside – Abigail Rose Designer Series Paper 2-1/4″ x 3-3/4″

Here is what it looks like when you open the card. The inside sentiment is stamped in Cajun Craze ink on a piece of Basic White cardstock that is then cut out with one of the Scalloped Contour Dies.
