Pink Cottage Rose Birthday Card!

I love this birthday card! The Cottage Rose Bundle is gorgeous. It’s one of the prettiest floral sets in this year’s annual catalog.

This card is based on the card we made on World Card Making Day. The layout of that card was so nice, I used it as a pattern for this card. Here I used Basic White cardstock for the card base. The first layer on the front of the card is a 5-3/8″ x 4-1/8″ piece of Splendid Day Designer Series Paper. On top is a panel of Abigail Rose Designer Series Paper.

The rose stamp has shading that is a part of the stamp. Use the Polished Pink Stampin’ Blend Alcohol Markers, both the light and the dark, to follow some of that shading. This adds dimension to the image.

Behind the stamped image are die-cut flowers that are thin and delicate. They were cut from Basic White cardstock and add a lovely contrast. The sentiment is stamped on a strip of the Splendid Day Designer Series Paper.
