Let's Make Some Candy Corn Treat Bags!

It’s almost Halloween, and the perfect time to make some treat bags! I’ve filled the bags with candy corn – although you could use any candy 🙂

I made these treat bags for my Bible study group, and I found this nice sentiment in the Wisteria Wishes stamp set. It’s just right for a Bible study.

To begin, I trimmed off the top of one of the Stampin’ Up! Medium Clear Bags. I filled each bag with about a dozen candy corns, folded over the top and stapled in the center of the fold.

To create the top of the bag, cut a piece of Basic Black cardstock 4-1/2″ x 4″ and score at 2.” After burnishing the fold, place the black piece over the top of the bag and staple the cover over the bag, 2″ on the front and 2′ on the back. Cut two 4-1/4″ x 1-3/4″ pieces of Pumpkin Pie cardstock. Glue the pieces to the front and the back of the Basic Black piece. This will cover the staples 🙂

Cut a 4″ x 1/1/4″ piece of Rustic Harvest Designer Series Paper. Stamp the sentiment onto the piece of designer series paper and adhere that paper onto the Pumpkin Pie cardstock using multipurpose glue.

Tie a bow using the fabulous Black & White Gingham Ribbon (my favorite ribbon right now!). Adhere with a Mini Glue Dot to Harvest panel, and there you, a!ll done! Very easy!
