The Fancy Flora Designer Series Paper is so gorgeous! I love it, and I especially love the pattern/design used on today’s card. This card shows off the beautiful paper to the maximum!
This is an interesting card. It’s basically a card set on a flat piece of cardstock. The flat piece is a 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″ piece of Petal Pink cardstock. On that piece you put a card. In this case, you will put on a gatefold card, which means that the front of the card closes like a gate, two sides come together in the center. The card base is an 8″ x 5″ piece of Starry Sky cardstock, scored at 2″ on each side. The 4″ back portion of this card is then glued to the Petal Pink piece.
On the inside of the card you cut and adhere a 4-1/2″ x 3-1/2″ piece of Basic White cardstock. Then close the “doors” of the gate and adhere a 1-7/8″ x 4-3/4″ piece of the beautiful Fancy Flora patterned paper to the front of each “door.”
Using the Something Fancy dies, cut a piece of Starry Sky cardstock with the 3″ x 1-7/8″ label die; cut a piece of Petal Pink cardstock with the 2-1/2″ x 1-1/2″ label die. Wrap a 3-1/2″ piece of Pool Party Grosgrain Ribbon lengthwise around the Petal Pink label, adhering with Stampin’ Seal+ on the back side.
Then adhere the two labels together with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Stamp the sentiment on a scrap of Basic White cardstock in Starry Sky ink and cut out with the six-sided die. Adhere the sentiment piece to the label, over the ribbon with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Add a few Adhesive-Backed Milky Dots for bling 🙂
Thank you for stopping by today! Happy Stamping!
