Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop!
This month, our blog hop theme is Party Time! We hope you will be inspired by all the beautiful creations the Pals made for you! As you hop from blog to blog, we would love for you to leave a comment. You will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
It’s almost spring – let’s have a spring party!! Every party must have presents, so here we have a big stack of presents. And pretty spring flower banners hang over the whole event! I’m there, what about you?
This card uses a combination of three stamp sets. The stack of gifts is from the Warm Welcome Stamp Set and the floral banner is from the Spring Blessings Stamp Set. The “celebrate” sentiment is from the Share a Milkshake Set.
Pretty Pointer: To create the background for this card you simply use a Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blend Alcohol Marker and press it lightly at an angle across a piece of Basic White cardstock. It’s a quick and easy way to create a watercolor-look background!
After coloring the background piece, stamp the floral banner in Crumb Cake ink, and color it with Daffodil Delight, Tahitian Tide and Parakeet Party Stampin’ Blends Alcohol Markers.
The card base is Tahitian Tide cardstock. Then there is a piece of Daffodil Delight cardstock 4″ x 5-1/4″ followed by the Basic White colored layer which is 3-7/8″ x 5-1/8.”
In the center is a circle of In Color Glimmer Paper punched with the 2″ Circle Punch with the stack of gifts on top. The bow is a piece of White Baker’s Twine that’s been colored with a Tahitian Tide Stampin’ Blend.
More inspiration awaits, so use the lineup below to visit the rest of the Design Team. The Pals are excited to show you what they’ve created! Then, please mark your calendars for our next blog hop on April 12th, when our theme will be Flowers in the Garden, showcasing cards/projects with flowers.
Until then, have fun in your craft space.
