Today’s card is another fun So Refreshing card. This one is what I call a Mini Slimline Card. It’s smaller than a standard slimline card and personally I think it’s cuter 🙂
The card base is 6-1/2″ x 6-1/4″ and scored at 3-1/4 on the longer side. Here I’ve used a 6″ x 3″ piece of Glorious Gingham Designer Series Paper in Lemon Lime Twist on the card front, as a base for all the fun lemonade activity.
Today’s card was inspired by this week’s Global Design Project Sketch Challenge. I turned the slimline card on the side.
Please watch the video tutorial below for more details:
I used two Basic White cardstock circles for the sentiment and lemonade glasses, and then stamped and cut the lemonade pitcher. The lemonade is stamped with Lemon Lolly ink, and the lemon slices were stamped with Daffodil Delight ink. Do you see the ice cubes in the glasses? Aren’t they cute?
You may be wondering about an envelope for the mini slimline card. I found some cute coin envelopes that fit this card perfectly. They are called: JAM PAPER #7 Coin Business Envelopes – 3 1/2 x 6 1/2 – White – 50/Pack.
This is such a darling Bundle! In addition to yesterday’s and today’s cards, I’ve also made a card using the pitcher and flowers from the Bundle. And I’ve created a PDF Tutorial for all three of these cards!
