It’s fun to follow a pattern to make a card. Today I’m following the sketch challenge at Global Design Project. It’s an easy challenge and one where you can really express your own ideas.
Here I’ve used some of the White Center Specialty Paper in Lemon Lime Twist and Night of Navy. The edges of the paper are torn to reveal the white. These papers were set on a piece of Basic White cardstock that was embossed with the Cane Weave 3D Embossing Folder and then colored with Night of Navy ink using a Blender Brush.
The hearts were made from Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper colored with Berry Burst ink using a Water Painter. They were then cut out with a heart die from the Radiating Stitches Dies.
A fun bow was tied from Lemon Lime Twist Ribbon from the Ribbon Duo Combo Pack. The sentiment from the Gorgeously Made Stamp Set was stamped in Night of Navy ink on a strip of Basic White cardstock. The ends of the strip were cut at an angle.
Thank you for stopping by today! Happy Stamping!
