Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop!
This month the theme is CASE the Catalog. We really hope that you will be inspired by all the amazing creations the Pals are sharing with you! Then, you will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
CASE means “copy and share everything.” Today we are to copy a card in the current Annual Catalog, either exactly or by making it our own. I decided to CASE this adorable card on page 20. I changed out the card base to Lemon Lolly cardstock (one of my new favorite colors!), and used a pretty Lemon Lolly striped paper from the Bright & Beautiful Designer Series Paper. I think the Lemon Lolly looks so pretty with the dark pink (Melon Mambo) cherries! This is a slimline card. The card base is 6″ x 6″ and scored at 3.” The designer series paper is cut to 5-3/4″ x 2-3/4.”
The Sweetest Cherries Stamp Set is SO darling and it’s especially great to use during the summer! It has a coordinating punch called the Cherry Builder Punch that makes it super easy to create the cherries 🙂 The punch not only crops out cherries, but also the stems and leaves!
To create the ombre effect on the sentiment, use two Sponge Daubers to apply ink to the stamp. First, mount the stamp on a Clear Block H. Lay the block down on a table with the stamp facing upward. Ink up the first Sponge Dauber with Melon Mambo ink and sponge it on the lower portion of the letters of the sentiment.
Now ink up the second Sponge Dauber with Lemon Lolly ink and sponge from the top of the sentiment letters down to the Melon Mambo ink, lightly sponging over the beginning of the Melon Mambo ink. Then stamp on a piece of Basic White cardstock and fussy cut closely around the letters with Paper Snips Scissors.
More inspiration awaits, so use the lineup below to visit the rest of the Design Team. The Pals are very excited to show you what they’ve created! Then, please mark your calendars for our next blog hop next month (always the second Wednesday each month), when our theme will be “Punch Your Art Out”.
Until then, have fun in your craft space.

This is such a cute card! The ombré sentiment really pops!
Beautiful Peggy. I feel like I’m at an old-fashioned fruit and lemonade stand when I see your card. Love it!
“Sweet” CASE card, Peggy! Just like you!
What a SWEET card Peggy. Love those cherries!!!
This is so cute, Peggy! Love the Lolly Lemon with the bright cherries! Those sequins are beyond the perfect embellishment! Such a great choice! Thank you for the inspiration, although now I think I “have” to have the cherry builder punch! Oh, the addiction is so strong, isn’t it? This is not the first time your creations have inspired me to purchase things I didn’t need before I saw what you posted!!!!
Thanks, Peggy!
Awesome card and I love the way you did the sentiment!
This is the sweetest Peggy! Terrific fun to see how you put your own stamp on this CASE Hop Pal!
Such a great slimline card, Peggy! Love the line of cherries filling the card front and they look wonderful against the new Lemon Lolly paper. Thanks for joining the hop this month!
Love this card Peggy! I haven’t tried creating slim line cards, but your card has inspired me to try. Have a great day!
