Fun-Fold cards are always – well, fun! And today I have for you a joy-fold card. A joy-fold card has two openings, it’s a card in a card.
It’s September and time to start making fall cards! The colors used for this card are so pretty, I think they’re my new favorite colors for fall.
The beautiful leaf on this card is a stamp from the new Cheers to the Season stamp set. This is a “Distinctive” stamp set which means it has built-in shading that makes the image, in my opinion, beautiful. I’ve used all these three inks on this stamp. Watch the video tutorial below to see how to do this.
Here are the measurements for the joy-fold card:
Copper Clay cardstock 5-1/2″ x 6-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″
Smaller Card: Copper Clay cardstock 4-1/4″ x 6-1/2″ scored at 3-1/4″
Pumpkin Pie cardstock pieces: 4″ x 5-1/4″ 2″ x 5-1/4″ 4″ x 3″ (two pieces)
Them Bones Designer Series Paper pieces: 1-3/4″ x 5″ 1/2″ x 2-3/4″
Very Vanilla pieces: 3-3/4″ x 5″ 2-3/4″ x 3-3/4″ (two pieces)
When you open the left side of the card, this is what it looks like:
And when the card is full open, it looks like this. This is where you write.
I hope you give this card a try! It’s not hard to make and it’s fun to open!
