Gift bags are so fun to make! And, they’re actually quick and easy. All you need is two pieces of 8″ x 8″ designer series papers. I use two 12″ x 12″ pieces of the same pattern and cut them both down. For this bag I used some of the beautiful Joy of Christmas Designer Series Paper.

The best tool to use when making this bag is the fabulous Stampin’ Up! Paper Trimmer. It both cuts and scores, so you can just use this one tool. I LOVE my Paper Trimmer!

Using a Paper Trimmer, score the first piece on one side at 1,” then score the remaining three sides at 2.” The 1″ scored section will be turned down to form the top rim of the bag. When you score the second piece, be sure to do it exactly the same so that the rim of the bag is the same all the way around.

Use the adorable Sending Cheer Bundle to create the gingerbread for the front of the bag. This gingerbread stamp is just darling! And there’s a cute little smiling face stamp too!

Behind the gingerbread man is a 2-3/8″ circle punched from Real Red ink. Then add some pretty red ribbon on each side for handles.
