Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop!
This month the theme is Sale-A-Bration and we are using products from the Sale-a-Bration Catalog. We hope that you will be inspired by the creations the Pals are sharing! You will find the full lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
The Sale-a-Bration products this year are AMAZING, I couldn’t use just one! Today I have for you a fun-fold card that uses the gorgeous Flight & Airy Designer Series Paper and the Softly Sophisticated Bundle.
This card has a folded front and then, inside a flap opens to reveal a full sheet where you can write! Begin with an 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ piece of Lost Lagoon cardstock. Score it in half at 4-1/4,” and then on one of the halves score at 2-1/8.” On the two small halves, adhere 1-7/8″ x 5-1/4″ strips of the designer series paper.
For the inner card, cut a 10-1/2″ x 4″ piece of Basic White cardstock and score it at 5-1/4.” Adhere the back of this “card” to the inside Lost Lagoon piece to form the inner card. Decorate the front of the inner card with a 5-1/4″ x 4″ piece of the designer series paper.
On the inside of the inner card I added a 1″ x 4″ strip of the designer paper. All the birds and flowers on this card were fussy cut from the Flight & Airy paper.
To finish the front of the card, die cut a piece of Basic White cardstock with a Thoughtful Expressions die and the emboss it with the Softly Sophisticated 3D Embossing Folder. It’s topped with a fussy-cut bird and a sentiment from the Softly Sophisticated Stamp Set. Some Linen Thread was added to look like a nest 🙂
More inspiration awaits, so use the lineup below to visit the rest of the Design Team. Then, please mark your calendars for our blog hop next month when our theme will be “Love is in the Air.”
Until then, have fun in your craft space.
