Today’s card is just downright FUN…and it’s a fun-fold card! It’s called a 3-Panel Card, and I even have a video to show you exactly how to make it! The colors on this card are Lemon Lolly and Fresh Freesia – they look SO nice together!
Begin with a Lemon Lolly 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ card base and score at 4-1/4.” Add a 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Lighter Than Air Designer Series Paper. Then you add the three panels. Each panel is a piece of cardstock 1-1/2″ x 3-3/4″ topped with a 1-1/4″ x 3-1/2″ piece of the Lighter Than Air Designer Series Paper. Arrange the panels across the card and adhere them with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Then place a strip across the panels. The strip is a 1″ x 5-1/2″ piece of cardstock topped with a 3/4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of the Designer Series Paper.
The design for this card was inspired by this week’s Global Design Project Challenge:

Then you just decorate the card! Here I’ve fussy cut one of the hot air balloons from the designer series paper. It’s placed on a fun circular shape cut with the Thoughtful Expressions Dies embossed. It’s also been colored with a Blending Brush and a bit of Lemon Lolly ink.
The sentiment is from the Adoring Hearts Stamp Set and is cut with the coordinating die. A sweet Lemon Lolly bow is tied at the base of the balloon, and a few Rainbow Adhesive-Backed Dots were added to the sentiment.
