The Absolutely Beautiful Magnolia Mood Bundle!

Oh my, I’m in love with the Magnolia Mood Bundle! It’s a new Online Exclusive and you will love it! Magnolias are so pretty. We do grow them here in Southern California, but I don’t think the trees get as large as they do in the southern states. But the blooms are beautiful!

Today I’ve made a circle card using the Deckled Circle Dies. The card itself is an 8-1/2″ x 11″ piece of Petal Pink cardstock, folded in half at 5-1/2.”

You then use the second largest Deckled Circle Die and place it over the folded cardstock, with just a bit of the top of the circle die extending past the fold of the cardstock. This creates the card base. Watch the video below to learn how to create a folded circle card.

Once you’ve created the card base, use the next smaller Deckled Circle Die to cut a piece of the Flowering Zinnias Designer Series Paper and adhere to the front of the card. Stamp the large magnolia on a piece of Basic White cardstock using Gray Granite ink, and cut it with the coordinating die. I only colored a bit of the flower, just the center – using Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends Alcohol Markers. But I did color in all the leaves using a Light Old Olive Stampin’ Blend.

Using Old Olive cardstock, cut out the various leaves in the die set. Adhere the flower on the front of the card and then tuck the die-cut leaves underneath. Stamp the sentiment in Old Olive ink on a scrap of Basic White cardstock, and cut out using the Labels Aglow Dies. A little double Linen Thread bow was added to the magnolia and some Cork Rounds were sprinkled about.
