Today’s card is a fun easel card. This is an easy fun fold with a big “wow”! And not only is the fold a “wow,” but the stamp set is also a “wow”! This is the Simply Zinnia Bundle and it is fabulous, and Beautiful! This Bundle is an Online Exclusive which means that it’s only found online in my Online Store.

At first glance, the easel fold looks like any other card. But when you open it, it stands up like an easel! The key to creating the easel is the placement of the sentiment strip. When you adhere the sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals, it’s raised up enough to stop the top of card from laying down, and thus creating an “easel.”

The soft Petal Pink paper used here is a sheet from the Flowering Zinnias Designer Series Paper. It makes a lovely background for the zinnias which are stamped in Berry Burst ink.

Below is a picture of the card fully open. You can see the inside of the card at the bottom of the picture. The top of the card has a fold that makes the easel!

The ribbon here is part of a Ribbon Duo Combo Pack that is retiring on April 30. It’s been one of my favorite ribbons. I used the Petal Pink ribbon from the pack and colored it with a Berry Burst Stampin’ Blend Alcohol Marker so that it coordinated with the ink used on the zinnias. In the video I didn’t color the ribbon, and it gave the card a softer look.
