The adorable cards in today’s post are made from the “By Your Side Kit.” This is a kit that has everything you need to create 8 cards with dogs and cats 🙂 This is an all inclusive kit with a stamp set that has some great sentiments.

The cards that I’m showing here are stepped-up versions of the cards in the kit. In other words, they are created a bit differently than the instructions, but I think you’ll like them. The card below shows the dog with a little dragonfly on his nose, and a few other dragonflies around him. This just makes me smile! The basic card was made according to the kit instructions and then I punched a few tiny dragonflies from Distressed Gold Specialty Paper using the Dragonfly Punch (which is retiring and on sale until April 30th).

For this card I combined both a dog and a cat on the same card. I love this kitty with the ball of yarn! And I added some Baker’s Twine behind the behind the yarn for more dimension.

What I love about this kit is… well, first, it’s so adorable! But I also love that you can easily combine it with the Pets & More Stamp Set to make LOTS of pet cards! The Pets & More set has darling images, but no sentiments. So when you have the stamp set from this By Your Side Kit it makes a perfect combination!
