A Fun Mushroom Thank You Card!

Oh my goodness, these mushrooms are SO cute! This darling thank you card is covered with mushrooms, what a fun theme!

These stamps are from the gorgeous Inspirational Sketches Stamp Set. This is an interesting set because it has a pretty bird stamp, the mushrooms stamp used here, and a pretty floral arrangement stamp – plus some nice sentiments!

For this card, there’s a background of mushrooms created on a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock and stamped with the mushroom stamp in Crumb Cake ink (tone on tone). The sides of this piece were distressed with Paper Snips Scissors.

The featured mushrooms were stamped on Basic White cardstock with Crumb Cake ink. Then the tops of the mushrooms were colored with Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blends Alcohol Markers, and a white gel pen was used to add the little white dots. Then the mushrooms were fussy cut and adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals. All of this brings these featured mushrooms to to front.

The sentiment was stamped with Poppy Parade ink on Basic White cardstock. A strip of Poppy Parade cardstock was slipped in behind the sentiment strip, and then a piece of Natural 3/8″ Polka Dot Trim was tucked under the Poppy strip.

What a different and fun card!
