With the 4th of July quickly approaching, it’s time to make a patriotic card! And what better stamp set to use than Light the Sky. It’s got fireworks, so it’s a no-brainer, right?
And of course we have to use red, white and blue 🙂
On a Basic White cardstock base I used a piece of Flowering Zinnia Designer Series Paper. It’s lightly patterned, but mostly red, just what I wanted. Then there’s a horizontal piece of Mediterranean Blooms Designer Series Paper. This piece is Night of Navy and white – perfect!

Three medium fireworks were stamped in Real Red on a vertical strip of Basic White cardstock, and this was backed with a piece of Night of Navy cardstock.
The sentiment was stamped in Night of Navy ink on a 1/2″ wide strip of Basic White cardstock and adhered on the fireworks strip. A bow of White Baker’s Twine was tucked under the top left corner of the sentiment, and a few navy Opal Rounds were scattered for bling. Why not take this card with you to a Fourth of July celebration and give it to the hostess?
