Luscious Lavender Floral Card!

Today’s card is a fun combination of some of my currently favorite products. I wanted it to have lots of layers, flowers, and be a bit shabby chic. Also, I wanted to use the new Online Exclusive Changing Leaves Bundle which will be released July 3rd.

The main colors used for this card are Basic White, Crumb Cake, and Highland Heather. The Perennial Lavender Designer Series Paper has all these colors, plus more! The card base is Crumb Cake with a sheet of the designer series paper that was distressed with Paper Snips Scissors. Then a 1″ strip of another pattern in the paper was placed across the card.

There are lots of fun dies used to make this card 🙂 The circle was cut with the Spotlight on Nature Dies. Then another 1″ strip of the designer series paper was adhered across the circle. A beautiful white magnolia blossom was cut using the Magnolia Mood Dies, and adhered over the strip with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I embossed a piece of Basic White cardstock in the Layered Florals 3D Embossing Folder and fussy cut just one flower. That was adhered over the center of the Magnolia blossom. Then some little Highland Heather branches were cut with the new Changing Leaves Dies, and tucked in around. The sentiment is also from the new Changing Leaves stamp set, available next week on July 3rd.

This card was so much fun to make! You can do the same thing – just pull out products you love, die cut things you love, and put them all together!
