Elie's Family Scrapbook Page! - Pretty Paper Cards

As I mentioned last week, I’ve started to make a family scrapbook. Today is Elie’s special page 🙂

To label the page, I created a cute little banner with Elie’s name. The letters were cut from Boho Blue cardstock using the Alphabet a la Mode Dies. The flowers were punched from Petal Pink cardstock using the Petal Park Builder Punch, and the leaves were punched from Granny Apple Green cardstock using both the Petal Park Builder Punch and the Bough Punch. The edges of the banner have bows of Flirty Flamingo Baker’s Twine from the Baker’s Twine Three-Color Pack.

The photo above shows Elie wearing her Elton John sunglasses 🙂 For the label I cut a little strip of Petal Park cardstock and wrote on it with a Boho Blue Stampin’ Blend Alcohol Marker.

This picture of Elie on the arm of the sofa shows her “guarding” spot. She’s looking out the living room window for anyone who might come to the front door. In this way she guards our little family – so cute! On the corners of the photo I’ve tucked in a few Granny Apple Green leaves punched with the Petal Park Builder Punch.

The full, layered flowers on this page were created by punching out all three sizes of flowers on the Petal Park Builder Punch. The petals on the flowers were curled up using a Bone Folder. Then the flowers were stacked on top of each other, from large up to small, and adhered with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. The leaves behind the flowers were punched using the Bough Punch.
