One thing I like to do is find interesting and different uses for stamp sets, That’s what happened with this card. You wouldn’t normally think to make a fall card with the Thoughtful Wishes Bundle.
But one of the stamps in the set looks like a stalk of wheat, or corn, or maybe even a sunflower stalk. When you use Cajun Craze and Crushed Curry cardstock and ink, poof – you have a fall card!
The circle behind the stalks was cut out with one of the Spotlight on Nature circle dies. The white brings attention to the colors of the stalks: one is heat embossed in white on Cajun Craze cardstock, and the other one is stamped in Cajun Craze ink on Crushed Curry cardstock.
Some Natural 3/8″ Polka Dot Trim was cut in half lengthwise and tied in a bow. A bit of the NEW Natural Tones Linen Thread was added to the bow. This will be available in the new Holiday Catalog coming in early September 🙂
