Fall Peach Pie Glimmer Card!

Happy August! We are starting the month with a taste of fall! This fall card is fun to make … lots of circles and glimmer paper and flowers! What could be better?

The stamped image here is a pretty floral sketch from the Inspirational Sketches Stamp Set. What I like about it is that it doesn’t have to be colored to look spectacular. Here I just added a small bit of color with a Peach Pie Stampin’ Blend Alcohol Marker.

Peach Pie is one of the new In Colors this year, and I really like it. It’s not so light that it’s pale, but it’s full of delicious color – and that includes it’s name! Doesn’t it make you hungry?? 🙂

The circle of Peach Pie glimmer paper adds so much to this card. Here it was cut out with one of the Spotlight on Nature Dies that has tiny rectangles and dots around the circle’s edge. So cute!

The Black & Very Vanilla Large Check Ribbon goes perfectly with the color theme. This is one of my favorite ribbons right now.

Around the bow is a piece of black baker’s twine, also tied in a little bow, and it attaches a cute tag that says “for you.” This sentiment is from the Heartfelt Hexagon Stamp Set, stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on a piece of Peach Pie cardstock. It was cut out with a fun die from the new Online Exclusive die set called Greetings of the Season Dies. I know I’ll be using these tag dies a lot over the holidays!
