Today’s card uses one of the Ephemera Packs in the new Holiday Mini Catalog. What is an Ephemera Pack? “Ephemera” is generally defined as collectible memorabilia that is/was for a short term purpose. Think show tickets, ticket stubs, playing cards, postcards and more. In this case, it is die-cut images that can be used for papercrafting!

My card today uses the Joyful Images Ephemera Pack. It’s a nice collection – four sheets of fun die-cut images we can use to create holiday cards and projects. When I saw this pack, the large mug of hot chocolate caught my eye. Doesn’t it look yummy? I just had to use it!

One thing I like about the Ephemera Pack is that it makes it easy to create a pretty card. There are times I want to make a few quick cards, and these packs really do the trick.

The sentiment used on this card is from the Decorative Trees Stamp Set. I wanted this card to remind us of sitting on a winter morning and relaxing with some hot chocolate. [I’m imagining this because it’s currently 100 degrees outside as I write this post!]
