Want to see some new product that create beautiful holiday cards? I love our color Pretty Peacock. It’s a beautiful, rich blue-green color that is a nice change from the traditional Christmas greens that we usually see. Here several great products are used to create this lovely Pretty Peacock card.
The background paper here is the Regal Distressed Patterns Specialty Paper. This is seriously one of my favorite papers in the Holiday Mini Catalog. It has gold foil “woven” through each sheet which makes it very elegant! It looks so nice on the card base of Pretty Peacock cardstock.
A Shaded Spruce Satin & Sheer ribbon is wrapped around this sheet and tied in a nice neat knot. This makes the card easier to mail and adds a classic touch.
Then the tree is set on a die-cut circle of Pretty Peacock cardstock. I’ve been having so much fun with the Decorative Trees Bundle. You have a basic Christmas tree with lots of what I call “overlays” that you can lay over the basic tree!
Here the tree itself is Gold Foil and the overlay is cut from Pretty Peacock cardstock. Don’t you love it? You can choose from lots of different overlays!
I didn’t add a sentiment, but you certainly could add any holiday sentiment. Personally I kind of like it plain. It gives the card an elegant look 🙂
