This Country Birdhouse Bundle has been calling to me to make a Christmas card, and I finally answered 🙂 It was just so much fun to make!

The birdhouse itself is cut from the Take a Bow 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper. Isn’t a candy cane striped birdhouse so cute?? The bottom of the birdhouse was cut from Real Red Festive Glimmer Paper, so it’s very sparkly.

The base of the card is Real Red cardstock with a layer of Basic White. Then there’s a layer of a pretty Real Red patterned paper from the Flowering Zinnias Designer Series Paper.

Behind the birdhouse is a pretty leaf frame cut with the Citrus Blooms Dies. It makes the birdhouse look like it’s set in a tree and surrounded by leaves. Inside the leaf frame is a piece of Graceful Greenery Vellum that’s covered with white dots.

The flowers were cut from Pretty in Pink cardstock with the Country Birdhouse dies. They were colored with Real Red ink using a Blender Brush. The dies themselves create little mini petals with the bigger petals, and these mini petals pop up. They’re darling!
