NEW VIDEO: Frosted Forest Holiday Fun Fold Card #1

Today we are starting a Christmas countdown – from now through Thanksgiving, every Friday we are going to make a fun-fold Christmas card! And, as much as possible, on my Lives on Wednesday we will make Christmas cards. This is to help you get ready and be prepared to send your Christmas Cards. I will give you color combinations and techniques and ideas for your cards so you will be ready to send out your cards!

I love the color combination on this card: Coastal Cabana and Cherry Cobbler. It’s different and the colors are both light, and rich, a lovely combination!

Here I used the Frosted Forest dies to cut the slim Coastal Cabana tree, I also used the Frosted Forest Masks to create the pink and red tree, and in today’s video you’ll find specific instructions using the mask set that comes with the bundle.

Here’s the video. If you want the exact dimensions, have a pad of paper and a pen handy so that you can jot them down.

The background paper is the Snowy Scenes Designer Series Paper. On the front of the card, first I made the tree on the right by using the small Blending Brushes and the masks that came wit the Bundle. For each mask I used a different ink color beginning with Pretty in Pink, then Real Red, and finally Cherry Cobbler. I love the way the masked tree came out!

And finally, a die- cut tree from Coastal Cabana cardstock. Use the Frosted Forest Masks and follow the method that I show in the video. This is such a fun card to make. I hope you can use this design over and over during the holiday season!
