Day 9: Sweet Yuletiede Village Cards!

Oh my goodness, it’s almost the end of the 10 Days of Christmas! Today is Day 9 and I have several cards made from one of my very favorite current stamp sets: Yuletide Village.

This is such a sweet set, and the images remind me of a traditional holiday — home and church and snow 🙂

This card is made with Real Red and gold. The card base is Real Red, and the layer on the front of the card is the gorgeous Season of Elegance Specialty Designer Series Paper. This paper is – I believe – the prettiest paper in the Holiday Mini Catalog. It makes a lovely background for the little home.

Surrounding the home is a gold wreath cut with the Encircled in Nature Dies – I just can’t stop using this die set! What I love about this card is that it uses the traditional Christmas colors: red, green and gold.

And here’s another card using the same stamp set! This card was designed by my friend, Dr. Robin, and I made it at her recent card event. Don’t you love it? This card focuses on the church and is mostly black and white, with just a bit of Petal Pink.

There are so many ways to use this Yuletide Village set. It’s one I want to keep for a long time 🙂
