The Mixed Florals Bundle is part of the beautiful Mixed Media Florals Suite Collection by Stampin’ Up! It’s so pretty! Today’s card uses the Bundle and the coordinating Designer Series Paper to feature two fun techniques.

The first technique is creating thin frames from rectangular dies. And – here’s a SNEAK PEEK – I’ve used some new rectangular dies available March 4th. They’re called the Textured Notes Dies and they are great! Watch the video below to see how to create these thin frames.

The leaves on this card were stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper. Then

the leaves were lightly watercolored with Mossy Meadow and Shy Shamrock ink using a Water Painter. This is a quick and easy watercolor method and it produces beautiful results!

The sentiment stamped between the frames is from the Heart Shaped Stamp Set. To finish off the card, a little Linen Thread bow was tied in to the top right corner of the upper frame.
