Different shaped cards are so much fun to make and to receive! And this card is easy to make with the Meant to Bee Hexagon Dies!

Create the hexagon card base by folding over a piece of Poppy Peacock cardstock and running it through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine, cutting it with the largest of the hexagon dies (see the video tutorial below for exactly how to do this).

Then add a Basic White hexagon cut with the next smallest hexagon die. This hexagon was embossed with the FREE Starstruck Embossing Folder (get with a $60+ order during Sale-a-Bration!). Then add a smaller hexagon cut from the absolutely gorgeous Mixed Media Floral Designer Series Paper!

The butterfly is from the Paper Butterfly Accents. You can color these, as I did here, with Blending Brushes and ink. You can make your butterfly any color you like!

Do you see the cute little ladybugs? These are from the Mixed Florals Stamp Set. They are stamped on the inside of the card and on the envelope.

When you cut a hexagon, a thin frame is cut around the hexagon. I kept all of the frames and used them around one of my favorite photos of me and Elie. Here’s the result. You could do the same with some of your favorite photos!
