Today’s card was inspired by this week’s Global Design Project color challenge. At first when I saw these three colors I wasn’t sure, but when I started using them I fell in love!

The card begins with a layer of Country Lace Designer Series Paper to give it a rustic look.

Then I heat embossed a piece of Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper with the Elements of Text Stamp Set and watercolored it with some Garden Green ink by using a Water Painter. The Lovely & Sweet Stamp Set was used to add some more elements to the piece. Then I added a scalloped edge cut with the Round We Go Dies. The scallops were colored with a Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blend Alcohol Marker.

The flowers and leaves surrounding the sweet oval frame are from the Textured Floral Stamp Set and Dies. The frame itself was cut from Basic White cardstock and Daffodil Delight ink was added with a Blending Brush.
