Sunflower 3D Embossing Folder!

Stampin’ Up! has released lots of new Online Exclusives, and this is a BIG release! This week I’ll be showing you some of my favorites.

You can see from these samples how versatile this folder is. You can do so much more than simple embossing. After embossing a piece of Basic White cardstock, you can sponge various colors on the flowers and leaves as you see in the top picture.

The card above has a card base of Darling Duckling cardstock. Two panels were embossed: a Basic White panel and a Darling Duckling panel. The white one was adhered to the card front, and from the other one I fussy cut the large sunflower with Paper Snips. Some Crushed Curry ink was sponged at the base of the leaves and the center. Then a Stampin’ Write Marker was used to create the little dot seeds.

Then I did the same thing again using Lemon Lolly cardstock for a lighter look. Some Loose Shaker Elements were glued to the flower center for bling 🙂 There’s so much more that you can do with this folder, and I’ll be showing you some of those in the coming days.
