Let’s relax and take the scenic route! Especially during the summer, this is what I’m telling myself: relax, enjoy every moment, smell the flowers.
This is a slimline card made with the Weekend Adventures Stamp Set. This is not a stamp set that I would usually get, but it has such pretty wildflowers and a darling cup stamp. It just called to me!!
You can create a slimline card with ab 8″ x 8″ piece of Basic White cardstock. Score at 4″ and it will fit perfectly inside a legal-sized envelope.
The accent color on this card is Shy Shamrock. It’s a nice clear color that looks so good with flowers. The flowers are colored with Stampin’ Blends Alcohol Markers.
And with all these flowers I just had to add a butterfly, right? The cute little butterfly on the top right corner was cut with the Beautiful Butterflies Dies (a favorite set!). It’s a double-layered butterfly, one layer is cut from Peach Pie cardstock and the top layer is cut from Lemon Lolly, with a Shy Shamrock body.
